First off, thank you for being here.
I'm Matt Canada, also known as The Wealth Engineer.
The goal of this newsletter is simple:
To share what I'm learning about money, wealth, ownership, and building a life with more freedom and purpose without quitting my 9-5 (yet).
Now before we get into all of that, I think it's only fair that I tell you how I got here.
A few years ago, I thought I had life figured out.
I had graduated with an engineering degree.
Got a good job.
- When I worked at NASA
Started making more money than I ever had before.
Then I hit a milestone that I had been chasing for years.
I finally crossed into a six-figure income.
I remember thinking:
"Man, life is good. If I just stay on this path, I'll be rich one day."
Honestly, I felt like I had made it.
From the outside, everything looked great.
Good career.
Good income.
Future looking bright. 🤩
But what I didn't know was that I was about to learn a lesson that would completely change the way I think about money.
And looking back, it was one of the best things that ever happened to me.
